How to Enroll in Universal U-First®?
The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) decides who can qualify for Medicaid.

Important Member Alerts
Effective September 1, 2011, a signed informed consent form will be required for any minor under age 13 who is prescribed a psychotherapeutic medication. The informed consent will need to be completed by the prescribing physician, signed by the legal guardian/parent of the minor child and presented at the pharmacy with the original hard copy prescription.
24-Hour Nurse Hotline
The 24-Hour Nurse Hotline is a free service from Universal. You can call anytime to speak with one of our nurses if:
- You are sick or hurt
- You need healthcare advice
- You are not sure where to go for help
A nurse will ask questions about your problem and to help you decide if you should:
- Go to the hospital
- Go to the doctor
- Care for yourself at home
